Screen Gems has set Michael Ealy, Steve Harris, Jay Hernandez, Marianne
Jean-Baptiste, Zoe Saldana and Johnathon Schaech to join the ensemble
cast of the crime drama "Bone Deep." Shooting began this week.
Also in the cast are Hayden Christensen, Paul Walker, Matt Dillon,
Idris Elba,
Chris Brown and T.I. in the John Luessenhop-directed pic.
Story
revolves around bank robbers who, after pulling off a daring heist, are
dragged into one last job by a freshly paroled cohort.
Luessenhop ("Lock Down") wrote the script with Gabriel Casseus, Avery
Duff and Peter Allen.

Sea
of Dreams absolutely blew everyone away at the International Latin Film Festival
on Sunday night.
The show was a sell out with over 100 people being turned away at the
door.

Johnathon is currrently in Canada filming "Angels Fall"
a Lifetime original movie based on
Nora Roberts' best-selling suspense romance novel starring
opposite Heather
Locklear. This is the third of
four adaptations of books by Roberts that Lifetime plans to run
back-to-back on Monday nights in February.
"Angels
Fall" centers on Reese Gilmore (Locklear), a chef who is
reeling from a shooting spree at her Boston restaurant that
left her as the sole survivor. She is slowly starting to put
her life back together when she takes a job at a restaurant in
Angel's Fist, Wyo., and gets to know the residents of the town,
including Brody (Schaech), an annoyingly stubborn yet
mysteriously sexy writer. Reece's hard-won happiness and sense
of security are threatened, however, when she becomes not only
the sole witness to a murder but also the killer's next target.

script is currently being filmed and directed
by Peter Medak
(Changlings, Romeo is Bleeding, Krays). Medak cast Johnathon
to take the lead role as Mike Franks
in the episode. The duo of Chizmar/Schaech
adapted Bentley Little's short story, The Washingtonians,

Johnathon's latest movie project is called Living Hell
and is being shot at Santa Fe's old main-prison facility and in and
around Belen. around April 25th 2006. The producers are David
Greathouse, Deborah Del Prete and Gigi Pritzker, executive producer is
Steve Ecclesine and the director is Richard Jefferies (Cold Creek
Manor). It will be a production of Dark Lot Entertainment and is a part
of The Horror Chronicles series.
The film, which stars Johnathon, is about a mild-mannered teacher,
Frank Sears, who learns that a New Mexican army base is being
decontaminated before being demolished. Sears has top secret
information about an experiment that was conducted in the 1950s in
which his mother was involved. He is mystified by the bizarre tattoo
his mother gave him as a child right before she committed
suicide.
He goes there and urges the base commander to open a secret vault,
which contains a deadly organism that was discovered and bred by his
biological father. This deadly organism's tendrils feed on light and
warmth and devour everything in its path. The teacher, along with a
hazmat specialist, has to figure out how to stop it from growing and
destroying everything in its path.

Correction
of incorrect Trivia.
A few sites mention that Johnathon was offered the role of Jesus in The
Passion of the Christ, however this is incorrect. The correct story is:
Jim Caviezel was originally offered the role of Jesus in the TV Movie Judas but turned it
down. Johnathon was NEVER
offered the role of Jesus in The Passion of the
Christ.

- Thanks to word of mouth AND the release of "older" movies on DVD,
great films like That
Thing You Do
(1996) are reaching far greater audiences than ever before. TTYD is
becoming a hit all over again. Directed and written by Tom Hanks this
is a fun, feel good movie that doesn't rely on special effects, sex,
nudity, swearing and killing... Sound boring??.. Well it's NOT..!!! ...
It's a very underrated movie well ahead of it's time and about to have
a come back. This movie is available on DVD so "do yourself a favour"
and grab a copy. Johnathon stars as the brooding, but brilliant Jimmy
Mattingly as seen below with co star Liv Tyler
